It Takes a Village, But What If You’ve Never Felt Part of One?

This week, I was invited to an intimate night with women in music in New York; having only lived here 5 months they were mostly strangers to me. I felt excited and nervous walking in, unsure what to expect. But from the moment I arrived at their beautiful home, I was welcomed with open arms by every woman.

And then, with a glass of wine in my hand, I had to do something I wasn’t really emotionally prepared for - share my story.

As women in this industry, we rarely get to do that. We’re told to stay polished, to prove ourselves, to keep pushing forward. Vulnerability is risky. But something incredible happened in that room. As we spoke, about our fears, our losses, and our wins; we connected. Not in a surface-level way, but in a way that reminded us: We’re not alone.

Because the music industry can feel very isolating. You can physically be the only woman in the room. The one left out of key conversations. The one who’s made to feel you should be grateful for the opportunities you have, even when you know you deserve more. You can be surrounded by people and still feel completely unsupported.

That’s why I do what I do.

I coach executive women in music who are ready to fully step into their power, call the shots, and build careers and businesses on their terms. I help women turn self-doubt into clarity, hesitation into action, and big ideas into reality.

Because you shouldn’t have to navigate this alone.

If you’ve a woman in music who’s ever felt like you don’t have that support system, let’s talk. Book a complimentary coaching exploration session here.
