Hello, I’m Sarah: A Career Coach for Female Music Industry Professionals

I’m a former music executive who found a deeper purpose in coaching women. As a certified coach, I’m accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and hold CPCC and ACC qualifications.

My Journey in the Music Industry

Over the past 20+ years, my journey in the music industry has been nothing short of an epic ride. I started in record stores, discovering the power of music to connect people from all walks of life. From there, I helped create audio shows for airlines, reviewed gigs for online and local papers, and spent over a decade immersed in the fast-paced world of major record labels like BMG Records, Sony Music, and EMI Music.

I’ve lived the highs and lows of recording studio life, distributed licensed apparel for giants like Live Nation and Warner Music across Europe, and even brought entertainment brands to Groupon. I thrived in business development, consistently delivering results while navigating the high-stakes, male-dominated rooms where being heard as a woman was often a battle. But I stood my ground.

But after years of pushing boundaries and proving myself, I knew it was time to create something different - something deeply meaningful.

I craved a career that would reflect my core values and reignite the passion that first drew me to music. I wanted to be my own boss, to build a life where work and fulfillment didn’t have to be at odds. Most of all, I wanted to lift other women up—helping them see their own brilliance, embrace their dreams, and rise to new heights.

From London to LA to New York: My Path to Coaching

Leaving London for the sunshine of LA was a turning point. I followed my heart, retraining with CTI to become a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) to enable me to help women on a deeper level. After two years in Los Angeles, I made the exciting move to New York, where I now dedicate myself to coaching women in the music industry—helping them succeed in their career with clarity and confidence. I am proud to be a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and hold an ACC accreditation. As a certified and accredited coach, I pledge to uphold the ICF code of ethics, treating all my clients with equity and integrity. This coaching pledge sets ICF coaches apart as we strive for excellence, integrity, cooperation, and respect in every client relationship.

My Coaching Style: Empowering Women in Music

I bring a unique blend of business savvy, coaching expertise, intuition and deep empathy to my work. I’m not just here to listen—I’m here to understand, challenge, and support you every step of the way. My curiosity, courage, playfulness, and authenticity are at the core of who I am, and they fuel the momentum we’ll build together.

I’m all in when it comes to your transformation. Your goals and dreams become my mission, and I treat them with the respect they deserve. We work as a true partnership, pushing boundaries and achieving things you’ve struggled to reach on your own. Together, we’ll evaluate where you are and chart the course to where you want to be.

Advancing Women in Music: My Mission as a Career Coach

I’m here to make my time on this planet truly count. As a fierce advocate for women, I’m deeply committed to a future where equality, equity, and equal pay are the norm in the music industry. The pace of change is frustratingly slow, and the stats don’t lie—we’ve got work to do. I’m here to help drive that change, coaching women to not just survive but to thrive, finding fulfilment and success in their careers.

OUTSIDE COACHING

I’m a proud Londoner, born and bred, now living in New York.  My coaching room is - and will always be - a safe, supportive space for the entire LGBTQ+ community, a place where everyone can feel seen and valued. My pronouns are she/her/hers.

Music has always been the heartbeat of my life. Whether I’m belting out tunes at home or soaking up the energy of a live gig, it keeps me connected and inspired. I’ve been a vegetarian for 30 years, driven by my love of animals and deep connection to nature—two things that constantly ground me and remind me of the beauty in our world.
