LEADERSHIP - WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU?

I just spent three life-affirming days with eight incredible women from different backgrounds—all eager to explore what leadership really means. The course is open to men and women, but perhaps there’s a reason it was only us.

I’ve never been entirely comfortable with the word leader; maybe as a woman you can relate? In the music industry, leadership is often male and often tied to authority, power, or just being the loudest in the room. But I learned that leadership isn’t just about taking charge. It’s about presence. It’s about lifting others up. It’s about making space for the right voices; including your own.

Leadership doesn’t have to come from the front; it can happen from anywhere. As a coach, I lead from behind every day, helping women in music shape the careers they actually want; ones where they are respected and valued.

Co-Active Training Institute isn’t just a training business, it’s a movement and a container that changes you. I joined the course uncertain, and I left not only with deep insights and growth, but also with eight inspiring women I now call friends. There’s something incredibly powerful about being in a room where women truly see, support, and uplift each other.

I’m excited to see where this takes all of us; and how we, in turn, can help other women step into leadership their way.
